Mexican Art - Frida Kahlo and the Still Life
In November 2013 I worked with pupils at Ramsbury Primary School, Malborough, on a Mexican project. We looked at the life and work of Frida Kahlo and in particular at her Still Life paintings. Pupils made studies of exotic fruit and plants from observation. Then they worked on bigger Still Life compositions using oil pastel and ink. They created some amazing work!
