Portrait of the actor, John Hannah
This portrait of the actor, John Hannah, was completed on location at Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, in Glasgow, as part of the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2013 competition.
I was delighted to have been selected and thrilled to get the opportunity to paint John Hannah. It was an incredibly daunting experience, painting in front of cameras and with people, who had come to the gallery that day to see the event, constantly walking past. I would not have missed it for the world!
